Sportsman TD built in Australia

Going through my Photo's I found this

It's a TD that was commercially built in Melbourne, Victoria back in the 1940's

I'd love to see any more pix you have for this TD, especially the galley area if there is one.

That is an interesting trailer, and very unique fenders.

:D, G'day PaulC,
That little TD looks as if it's all ready and rarin' to be hitched on behind an FX Holden and away for a weekend at some lovely riverside spot. I live in Newcstle and last Saturday I went to the Hunter Valley Gardens for the day. On the way home, driving through Neath what should I spot coming the other way but an FX. As I got closer I noticed something behind the Holden. It was a TD much like the one in your photos. The Holden was cream, the TD yellow and they were headed toward Cessnock. That's the third TD I've seen in the Hunter in the last 4 weeks.

Keep Looking Ross and you'll see them in the most unusual places ;) I've also got some drawings of their later TD's that Andrew has added to his design library page, if anyone is interested.

Hi Paul

I found this old thread of your tonight. I thought I should post some photos I took this year of a Sportsman at Eastern Creek classic car show. It appears very similar to the one you posted but has different guards and hatch details.
