Well I bought plans 4 years ago. When I found this web site it peaked my interest again. So I started about a month ago on the frame. There are pics at this web site.

I'm going to tow behind an FJ Crusier 24" ball height. I have built a lot of trailers over the years. This one will sit pretty high for the ground clearance. This will proably be the prototype for the second one. Will See!!
Great web site with lots of ideas.

Where are you at in Utah, the Great Basin Tearjerkers will be holding a gathering at Willard Bay in May, and Grant is holding one in Austin Nv. in April...Jim G

If your teardrop building skills are equal to the fine work you have done on your trailer, you should have a fine rig when it is finished. Keep the pics coming, and good luck on the balance of your build.

Looks dirty to me. I can never find the top of the bench just keep piling things on it. I did have to cleanup so I don't have little fires burning while i'm welding.

Hi from another Utahn! Have fun with your build! It's a fun adventure. And be sure to check out this thread for Salt Lake area suppliers that I frequented when I was working on mine:

Beautiful work so far! Nice, clean shop. If my shop were that clean, folks would think my beloved had thrown me out!
