I am doing this lantern for a special project I am working on.

I am almost done with it. I just need to get the decal on it & it will be done.

I just used some Krylon spary paint. It seems to work ok but you need to be carefull with it. You either need to bake it or let it cure for a couple weeks before you get any fuel on it.

As for the color, you need to match it to the vent. I have 2 red 200a's & they are different color.

Here is a list that someone started:

Paint information, Use at your own risk!

Light Blue Sears Fount: Plasti-Kote Chrysler Engine Enamel, #232

AGM SpeediKook Fount: Plasti-Kote Car Color Ford 8125

Orange/Red 1958 200a fount: Plasti-Kote Mazda Red #5501

200 Canadian: TREMCLAD RUST PAINT - FIRE RED

200A Red: NAPA Massey Ferguson Red

200A Red: Rustoleum High Performance Enamel Safety Red #7564

200A Red: Duplicolor automotive CARDINAL RED

Pre 80’s green: Krylon Hunter Green

Stove (84) Green: Krylon Kelly Green

Black bands & heat drums: Rustoleum BBQ black high heat paint once cured in oven, rub down with clean rag, its a perfect match can’t tell it from the real thing?

275 Brown Fount: Ace hardware "Leather Brown" indoor/outdoor spray enamel.

Bronze Stove Tanks: Testors model spray can paint color #1251 copper or metallic copper by Rustoleum
