Trudy, We can just hope that we get a couple of the pull through sites. We don't know when the other folks (the seven sites already reserved) will arrive.
Hopefully those that arrive on Thursday can grab a pull through or ask the park host to pur our names on the pull throughs Friday am.
queeniejeanne will be coming also in hopes to be squeezed in.

the sites that we are allowed to double up in are 1,6,9,12 and 16

This is all I could find Mark.

Even if you zoom in the sites in the Buckeye campground are not numbered.

I don't think I have ever paid attention to the site numbers. I've just looked at the ones marked "Modisette"

FIREWOOD ???? Is anyone bringing a buttload???

There is burn bans in a lot of counties in Oklahoma right now, but nothing in or anywhere close to Broken Bow (McCurtain County) yea!!!!

I am eager, and thought of leaving Thursday afternoon but that's only a possiblility... it's about a 5 hr drive from OKC so don't know if I might drive half way Thursday night and then get there earlier on Friday or what. I'm just tempted to take an extra day of vacation! haha

Anyone else coming on Thursday?

Julie

ps... I'll do a pineapple upside down cake for the potluck , I think

We will be arriving sometime Thursday evening/night.
Hope to leave around 1pm but might not be until 5pm.

I'll check on the firewood status around here. We can most likely bring some too.

Hey Mike,
be sure to stop by the Buckeye area first. We won't know until we arrive if we can snatch up the pull throughs which we have permission to double up in.
The other campgrounds are first come first serve. In the past few years the park has not been full to capacity.
You might want to call the park and see if any of the other 7 reservations have cancelled. 580-494-6300

We'll be looking for you

Hey Linda.... can you clarify? If we have given you a deposit, then should we just look for you first or tell the park we're with the big friendly group? and will us with res's get the buckeye spots ?

I'm in need of a v a c a t i o n so thinking of taking off 1/2 or all of Thursday and just get out of town...

Hey Julie, the park host will come out when you drive up. Just tell them you are with the "Modisette" reservation. Make the circle and pick a site with our name on it. Set up camp and you're done.

I hope Betty and Nolan are the park hosts again. They have been there for the first 3 gatherings and really look forward to us coming. If they are there they will definately know you are with the group.
