Will they give us a deal on two? (Plus, I don't even need a full-size one. And slightly used is okay.) The most ironic thing is, it looks REAL relaxing, like it's just inviting us in there for a nap!
True story, and as the Forum Storyteller, I'm allowed to digress:
Don't remember exactly where I heard it, saw it, but it was on TV like 20 years ago. A guy threw a "coffin building" party and invited all of his family and friends to his house for a real blowout bash. He spared no barbecue expense, took a ton of photos, and in-between all of the food and booze, he directed the building of his own coffin.
He wasn't ill or anything, but a lot of the folks there thought that must surely be the case. His rationale?
Well, he took all of those great photos, and shellacked them (remember shellac? spelling?) to the outside of his coffin. And he said:
"When I die, I want everyone at my funeral to have a smile on their face, looking at my coffin with all of those wonderful photos, remembering what a great day we all had together. What a great life it was for me."
I ain't sentimental, but I never forgot it.
