Newbie from East Tennessee

Postby weldrchik » Mon Mar 23, 2009 6:49 pm

Hi everyone,
My name is Kimberly and I am new to any kind of forum so please be patient with me. I have a computer learning disability. These things hate me! :) My boyfriend and I inherited a 1945 tourette teardrop last year and have been restoring it. I will try to post pics but it may take days :? We already have it on the road but it could use improvements. We are looking for any teardrop clubs in the east tennessee area any info would be appriciated.
Thanks, Kimberly

Hi Kimberly,
I looked and there is a Tenn VolunTear group on TearJerkers (kind of a sister forum) http://www.tearjerkers.net/forums/

They have some campouts listed for this year in TN.
http://www.tearjerkers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1003

You will probably have to sign up to view these, but it's free and on the bright side the forums are a lot alike to get around in.

FYI, the Southern Appalachian Chapter is having a May event, SPRING FLING AT THA HOLLER *2009* May 15 – 17, 2009
Raccoon Holler Campground in Glendale Springs, NC I don't know how far that is for you, but it is in western NC, which is practically in eastern TN.....

Hope this helps.
Lisa,

Sweet :applause: :applause:

We're just down the road from you. We have a fairly active group of teardroppers here in TN, and several up you way. Pat and I look forward to camping with you in the future.... We just bought a 1947 Cub/Modernistic and have built 3 others. It's addictive

Kimberly,
Download Picassa from google, it's free and it will find every photo format file on your harddrive and put them all into one file.
