Well I, for one, am jealous! That is one cool way to go, and the scooters on the front will look awesome.
Just curious, what is the time frame on the "cabin" build from start to wherever you are now?

It's been about 4 weeks since the beginning of the cabin. Keep in mind that I haven't been working on it every day, I usually get a few hours here and there. I wish I could devote all of my spare time to the beast but I think my wife, dogs, cats and house would feel kind of neglected.

I have been working from rough sketches and "plans" in my head so now that the main structure is complete I'm hoping that things speed up.

I guess that's a newbie mistake Nitetimes, I like to have (almost) every detail thought through BEFORE I implement them. I'm sure I'll prove myself wrong and all of you guys right!!

Doesn't matter to me though, I having a blast with the process!!!

I've already told my wife that this isn't going to be the last one!

Let's see if I can do the math. The first 10% has taken me 3 months. , so divide by 90%, that means that I'll need 27 months more to be complete.

But, I need to be done in 6-7 months for LCG IV in October. I guess I better get movin.

Totally true! I have TONS left to do on mine, but am taking her out on our 3rd camping adventure Friday - Sunday in beautiful Why, Arizona!

MD is pretty nice, too! I remember flying in to BWI one October afternoon, and from 30,000' it looked like we were over a field of marigolds, all the pretty trees in their fall colors. Nothing like that out here!

As luck would have it, my work day started at 2pm today due to the schedule of our client. What this means is that I had all morning to get my garden started AND I get this Friday off!!! My boss is kinda cool like that.

I plan on spending all day in the garage!!

I KNEW IT!! Same when your buildin a house. It can be finished on the outside. Looks like its ready to move in. People say "your almost done" and you say "about 25%" and you get that crazy look Now comes all the finish work. Very time consuming..and expensive.
