Hello,

My Name is Dave & I am just starting the planning proccess of building a Teardrop. I have downloaded the Generic Benroy Plans which I know are not very detailed. I think I'm just going to draw my own plans unless anyone can convince me It's better to purchase plans.

Dave,

Buy them or make your own plans, the choice is yours. Whatever inspires you is the name of the game around here. I spent months looking at at all the info here and then I jumped in, the plans are in my head. If you get stuck or need advice just ask, lots of folks willing to help.

Welcome Dave,
Check out the Design Library in the above heading. We bought plans off E-Bay and threw them away and did our own thing.
Glad I did I like how my little "Sponge" turned out. Hey its your build, do it your way.

plans, we don't need no steenking plans.

A pencil ,some string , a thin rip of wood and an imagination is all that is really needed. What ever they say, there is no wrong way to make YOUR trailer.

Go for it. We need more free thinkers.

to the playground Dave. I read the Generic Benroy plans and I doubt if you will find a more complete set. Why pay when they are free.......?

Look forward to seeing what you design so it is the only treatment anyway.
