Finally I am Starting!

Postby Shazza » Mon Mar 30, 2009 6:13 pm

Hey everyone! :) I am so excited! I picked up my trailer today. Got an awesome deal on the HF 1740 lb 12 inch 5 bolt tire! With a 20% coupon my friend gave me and the on sale trailer I paid $267!!

Here is a picture just for you Auntie M... with the trailer and one of my mascots Bibi my 5 lb love baby.. Image

Sawdust forthcoming as I picked up plywood and cross pieces for the decking. I even ordered my CPES!

I would love any and all suggestions for a custom plate!

Yippee! :D

Great! I get excited watching everyone's build threads.
As a dreamer of dreams and a travelin' man,
I have chalked up many a mile.
Read dozens of books about heroes and crooks,
And I've learned much from both of their styles.

How about the little crapper? They seem to be pretty consistent in that department!

lol well I got really lucky, for the most part she isn't a yapper or an indiscriminate crapper! She has her place in the back yard and is a perfect lady about using it.

Beginning to put the trailer together, spring question

Postby Shazza » Wed Apr 01, 2009 5:41 pm

Okay.. So due to the cold and weather.. I've moved the trailer pieces into the house and have began putting the frame together in my living room!

Everything but the axle and the wheels.. With that I have a question. Has anyone upgraded the suspension/springs on the HF trailer? Anything to help it ride not quite so bouncy? Or have you all found that it is okay once put together and loaded down?

thanks!

My trailer frame bounced all over the place when towed home but once it gained 900 lbs of materials it rides nice.
