Jawbone, I've been playing along to this.. It's a good background for 12 bar.

Are you still going to the "Bean"?

Kurt are you getting together a TearUp band? We just love listening to a guitar around the campfire... guess we don't mind you sing either :D

Whats it call? Band of Tears? B-50-Tears? Smashing Tears? Tears for Fears? (oops sorry that one is taken), Barenaked Galleys? A Flock of Teardrops? Blackfly Special? Bite Me One More Time? Livin Off Blackflys?

Jawbone is the Band Leader (new assignment). He's the organized musician.
Between Steve, Jawbone, Mark and me (or whoever wants to play) we could keep the bears awake.

Beware of Ranger Barney Fife... I'm sure he has a decibel level meter as well as a radar gun in that golf cart of his!

We'll need to be all "Acoustic".
The Bass sound is what travels so we'll need to keep an eye on Steve.

If this keeps up we'll need to call it the "Tearup Blues jam". I know that Leslie (Alan & Leslie) plays guitar too so she'll have to be part of the "Band".

Then we have Mark and April to add their abundant talents. Should be fun.

I hope Ranger Fife has a sense of humor. :o

Long story short-- My wife and I were throwing out our trash and on our way back to our campsite when we were motioned to pull over by a man on a golf cart. Apparently these carts are equipped with radar units because I was told I was doing 22mph in a 15mph zone!! Luckily I was let off with a warning and told if it happened again I would be in big trouble! :Oh Brother: I'll give you the full story in June.

Hey Kurt and all - I couldn't watch the YouTube thing (Darn dialup) but if it's a 12 bar progression I can probably sing about a dozen and a halfsongs to it!!! It looks like we could get a great little jam goin' (quietly) - maybe this could be a sneak preview
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qITkwCajNGA - hope it links OK!

Not sure if we could make the "Spring Fling" the band is really pushing to get some gigs - we have taken June off to do stuff, "ADK" etc. We just did a show at Shoeless Joe's and have a couple coming up in July, but we want to get a bit of momentum going but it's tough sleddin' - but you never know!!!??? I turn up in odd places!!!
