...which oil should I use in my Teardrop?
Oh... this isn't a biker forum! :o

anyway, saw the CW and RV dealers versions of the TD's, then bought a motorcycle trailer. It's 6x10 with a railing about a foot high, and a 4' drop down ramp.... so I've been investigating how to make a TT/BH (Travel trailer/bike hauler....)

Saw some bike trailer pics, started looking for bike hitches an trailers, and ended up on this forum.
A bike sized TT would look great behind my Softail Deuce.... , I could carry a bit more stuff and it would be way cheaper... all I need now is a garage....

now to do lots of reading here!
thanks for all the great links!

40 X 48 Harbor freight frame with 2' extended tongue.

handleing was horrible behind my goldwing before extending the tongue.

built the tear body in about 7 hours of working time!

page 13 of my album has some build pictures

Use him this week behing the Scion XB to move bricks and 2 loads of firewood. It is just a rear hatch cargo trailer but he has proven real handy many many times in the last 2 years.
Growing older but not up !

Image to the playground Mary. Now you know building a TD is so you don't end up in a tent---right, or even on a cot if you can help it. 8)

Are you wanting something to carry the bike inside? Spend some time in the Hall of Fame and the build forums. You will have fun and become totally addicted if not already. :D

Enjoy

Thanks for the Welcome!

Just what I need...more forums! <BG>
I'm already on several bike and rv forums....

Actually I wnat to build TWO teardrops.
One form a 6x10' bike trailer.... but I want to have both an rv and a bike trailer capability..... been thinking about how to do this for about 6 months...
and a trailer to tow behind my bike... a Teeny Tiny Teardrop....
so that I can carry the tent, sleeping bag, pad, lawn chair, cooking stuff, hairdryer, etc... my bike is NOT a touring bike. It has two saddlebags and whatever else I can bungee on it.
but it does have a GPS which I also use in my Jeep....so I know where I am when I'm lost!
Thanks :)
Mary
PS... The guys may laugh, but going to sleep in a tent on a 40F night with sort of long wet hair totally sucks!
