Couple question before the sawdust fly

Hi Kevin,
My Grumman2 is 5'6" wide , with outboard wheels, and we love the space it's given us. I think fenders can make all the differance to a teardrop, and I couldn't justify the cost of having fenders sent over from the state, so I made my own. It's just another new learning curve.
I've moved on to # 2 now because I enjoyed building the first one so much. It's for my Daughter , It's smaller, more compact, and a little more challenging .But it fills my creative needs at the same time it will fill her camping needs .

Very good information, thanks.... I think it is best I just start building and deal with the details as they arise. If there is a #2, #3. or #100, you have to start somewhere.

Time to get building, lets see where it goes...

I built up over the wheels. There is no wheel well to bust shins on. What I have, though, is a higher trailer than most; nearly 7 feet high at the top. I can live with that better than a wheel well. If I had 15 inch wheels it would be unacceptably high, though.

Yep, lots of reasons people build more than one. I should speak for myself, not the community. Some just like doing it. I missed that possibility. Personally, I would not build #2 if I didn't think I could improve on #1. IMHO. This isn't a business for me.
