Sorry, but we are not going to be there. Just a little too uncertain for an 1100 mile round trip. I hope you all get lucky with the weather. be sure to take lots of pics, especially Snoop Douggy in the hot springs!

Jerome

Sorry to hear you won't be making it Jerome...but I can see why. I figure it can't be any worse than the trip to Minden in 07...little cooler, but I'm not expecting any tornado sirens and thunderstorms like that was. Doug

Two more trailers will be there.

Steve T's trailer is parked out in front of the house as we speak. We will be leaving tomorrow morning and hope to get there by early afternoon. I'm bringing an ez-up just to have somewhere to sit if it starts to drizzle.

Doug, I really like the idea of multiple trailers in a single site. We do that frequently and it makes for a lot more conversation between people. It's a great way to conserve on firewood too since we can share a fire.

Ken, maybe we'll see you on the road. If you have a CB, Steve and I will be on channel 21.

See you all there!

Grant, sorry to hear about the continuing frustration. We'll keep or fingers crossed and keep good thoughts for you. I ended up deciding to wait on the shoulder surgery until possibly late fall. Now we'll see if I can deal with the pain until then.

It looks as though I will not be making the trip as well. Forecast calls for rain/snow for my intended route, coming and going. Go figure.

So rather than play wet driver, I have decided to stay home and work on my newest aquisition. A 1954 Boles Areo 16' Mira Mar travel trailer. If the weather gods cooperate [and maybe even if they don't!] I may try to hide out locally somewhere here in the Royal Gorge region of Colorado.

I will be with you all in spirit both at the Glyphs and The Dam Gathering. Hopefully, I'll see some of you at ITG3 in Minden this June 18th - 21st.

Take care and happy trails,
George T.

Sweet looking camper! Do you have any more pictures? Inside? I love the look and style of it. Did you get it locally? I can't find anything in Florida or even close. Everything I am interested in is either in Michigan, California, Arizona or Texas.

I will be there unless I need chains to get over the Sierras. I am hoping to leave Thursday about noon to arrive in time for dinner. I'd be glad to share space.

I really wanted to go to this but the weather here is not looking good. We are to get rain/snow tonight and tomorrow. And rain again of Friday/Saturday. And this will come from Nevada! So, I don't think I will make it. I needed to fix up the trailer a bit before I take it out and the weather hasn't cooperated much the past two weeks. I will be thinking of those of you who brave the trip. Make sure you take picutres so we can see what it is like. I will continue to watch the weather in case there might be a chance that it won't be too bad and I can hitch up and drive over there, even if for only one night. Have fun!

Just checked Ca. Dot....no chain laws in effect tonight on Hwy 50, Nevada has no special mention on conditions either...it's nice and cold here. Such a shame, I've got the Rocketear all nice and clean, bet that doesn't last long. See you all there! Sunny...you're getting all the stuff that hit us I'll bet. Doug

Something is wrong. I was aiming to leave about 8 am and i usually get going about 1 hour after that time.

It is now 7:33 am and I am ready to head out. Wish me luck, something is wrong. :o

See you at the Glyphs. :D
