Project on Back Burner

Our plans to do a modified Weekender this summer are reluctantly being put on hold.

We had anticipated both of us being able to take the next year off, but that's now looking very unlikely. The idea had been to spend the summer (or most of it) building, then enjoy paddling/camping/travelling with it this fall. While both Chris and I are fortunate enough to have the summer off, we've opted to stick with the tent-and-tarp for another season, do as much paddling and camping as possible, then start the trailer this fall and complete it next spring. If all goes as planned, we'll then have a full year off, summer included, to enjoy the trailer.

BTW - we've gotten a handle on sorting out the suspension, and will probably get that done in the near future - appreciate all the advice we had regarding that.
