Hey all,

Had a nice Easter Sunday, family and weather wise......
Happy Easter to all who celebrate.
Had a chance to work on the teardrop, get it ready for my first trip.
I have included pictures in photo album.
1 - Added a tongue storage box. Had to move the spare tire forward a couple of inches to fit. While doing this I found that the installer did not add washers to the bolts which was actually allowing for the head of the bolt and the nut to dig into the bolt hole. Saving expenses or just lazy? Well I added washers to both sides of the bolt while they were off.
2 - To the galley area I added Rubber Maid sliding bins to store the kitchen gadgets and supplies. These sit upon a rubber type material shelf liner and are held in place by three small screws each. The two sliding bins to the right will allow opening the door which goes into the sleeping area storage.

Hi, Looks pretty nice. What are the drive way markers for. I hope it is to help you line up to hook, and not the depth of snow so you could hook up.

Nah it did not snow that much in New Jersey this year. The markers are there to prevent me from hitting into the camper when I park my car.

Looks good. Unless the photo angle deceives me, the new spare tire location is gonna somewhat limit a sharp right turn ;)

I looked at that again and it does look preety tie. Looks like you could almost swing the tire under the front there, so it would be under your box and out of the way all together. You never get a flat going camping anyway.

How tight is tight? Anything over 45 degrees?
Don't have any experiences with backing this camper into a spot yet.....
hopefully this coming weekend for an overnighter at least.
Will keep the wrench and rachet close by if needed for a quick removal.

I have to agree with Harvey, the tire there is really gonna limit a right hand turn..I'd say it will prevent anything but the slightest right turn.

If you can read this bumper sticker, my camper fell off.
