Found this item at Bass Pro Shop. It has a ring gasket on the exterior, positive clamp on the cord end inside. Not cheap at $12+ but as neat and simple as I've seen.

For $12 That's a good alternative. I've been thinking 30Amp twist-lock, I think I can find one at the boat salvage place. Does anyone use 30A service for their teardrop?

I use a Hubbel 30 amp marine shore power connection and the sametype fitting fitting for cable hookup from a yacht that was being salvaged during last years hurricanes for my teardrop with screw on chrome caps plus the one in the above picture dedicated for my charger/battery maintaineers and an old shore cord and pigtail converter from 15 amp to 30 amp service. The main problem is 30 amp shore power connection is different from 30 amp connection at campgrounds ( different pin configuration) but easy to adapt to work by changing the plug end on the pig tail adapter.......cheaper than buying a new cord

I have the same one. I picked mine up on eBay (where else.....) for $5.99 plus $3-4 shipping a while back.
Did a quick search and there's one listed there for $10.00 (buy it now price) LINK

This is what I used.



I got it from a local RV parts store. I simply pass my power cord through this hatch.

But there are a coulpe listed there, it's the same price a you looked at though. There are always some on ebay, if your willing to wait for them....That's what I did, waited and bid on a few, till I got one for the price I wanted to pay.

I simply bought an outdoor type electrical, mounted it under the back end of the tear, with a male end in the box, just open the little door and plug in

I think I paid $18 at Greybar Electric. I like it because I don't have to remember to put the cover back on and its a specification grade 20A plug.

Hey all- I picked up the Marinco charger inlet as well (rated at 15 amps.) I read somewhere else that if the campground has 20Amp service that you could fry the inlet. How probable is this? Do most CGs use 20 amp service? Should i run out an return this now? Ugh
