Iv allways wondered about certain american snacks....like twinkies or oreos or hershey bars...whatever 1 of them is?

id be able to send the price of the goods....postage..and a little extra for your trouble???

Anyone interested in this small adventure??...anyone???

There are places here to buy real British foods, and it appears that there are places there to get American Foods. This site has an impressive listing of popular American brands for sale in the UK.

http://www.americansoda.co.uk/uk/Americ ... fault.aspx

Also, there are regional snacks in the US that can't be bought in every state and region. For example, Hostess Twinkies are everywhere, but in the NY, NJ, PA area, Tastycake Krimpets are the regional favorite (they taste way better than Twinkies).

Those will be harder to find over there. You may need some Yankee help getting some of them.

Here are some of my recommendations from the American Soda site I posted above...

Sodas: IBC Root Beer and IBC Creme Soda (always in my fridge), and Dr. Pepper is a Texas staple.

Candy: Baby Ruth, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, York Peppermint Pattie, Butterfinger, Altoids, Life Savers five fruit flavors, Cracker Jack, and definitely some Jolly Ranchers (yum).

Snacks: Original Oreos, Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix, Cheetos, and just to say you ate one, get some Twinkies.

Cap'n Crunch and Fruit Loops are breakfast cereals that have been around forever, too. Loaded with sugar!

No, I know your kidding, the products are still being made, just not on the market because of "new stuff" taking it's place, unfortunately.

I know a few relocated Brits that I could check with to see if they wanted to do an exchange with you.

I would recomend going with someone from the states verses a website. The reason is that some products are made for export. Currently, I am buying Mexican Coke because that is produced with Cane sugar while the local stuff is High Frucose Corn Syrup. There will also be slight variations in taste just from water differences in each region.

Let me know if you want me to contact some of my people.
The quickest way to find me is on my business site. Yes, I do answer questions and provide quotes for free. Find me at: http://www.wenatcheefarmers.com
