How long did it take you to start building once you decided

Well I said 3 months and that is close. I had to have a plan. Once I got the plan almost worked out ..............notice the almost in there, I think I started getting wood, and taking back messed up wood and find more wood.

Truth is I spent a lot of time reading here, and playing here and well there was winter. Good excuse huh!

I said three months. I think I joined this site in October/05 and had my frame made in Feb/06. Finally finished the trailer in /08, Still thinking of doing more to it....we'l see.......

I don't live in a spot where I could build a trailer nor do I have the free time. I did however purchase one to tide me over until I get the chance to build our own.

I said 3 I think it was closer to 6. For no reason except I had no time to build anything until 2 weeks before we had to leave. Started cutting steel while I was finishing up a job, had frame built and painted in 3 days, the rest of the trailer in the following 10 days. We left on schedule but I was screwing down the countertop an hour before we left!!

It actually took about ten months. I'm still working on some of the exact design details. But that is part of the fun for me. I know this will be one of a kind.

Hey everybody.I found the Dessert Teardrop Plans,read everything I could on TDs and ordered the plans that night.To starrt the building process took about 3 months,due to it was winter and I am building outside.Now winter is over its time to start building again and get all the parts I stocked piled instaled.Happy building everyone.
