Reaction Time Slowing?

Postby RICHARD FURROW » Fri Apr 17, 2009 10:20 am

Getting old, are we? Reflexes slowing down?
As I remember, the automobile driving manual says the average driver's reaction time is:
.75 seconds -or- 1 car length for every 10 mph...

Test your reaction time with this special test.

consistency is important....... btw, the new AARP suggestion is a 3 second separation between you and the car in front.... try it as an experiment.. remember when the car in front goes past a pole, that is not 1, that is 0... 3 seconds leaves a very safe gap, but rest assured, someone will fill it before you can blink.
