SlumberMAX Hits the Road - Complete!

Postby Juneaudave » Sat Apr 18, 2009 6:27 pm

In a world record build time of just under three years...I'm declaring success and completion!!! :applause: Marcia and I took the SlumberMAX out for its maiden spin today....and got lot's of smiles, 's , and caused some broken necks on other drivers!!! The Honda towed it just like it wasn't even there.

Thanks to everyone who helped with plans, advice, and encouragement...Dave

That is one exceptionally tidy teardrop you have there... I couldn't build something that nice in 3 centuries, let alone 3 years!

Many happy camping trips!! :applause:

Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

Very nice job on the teardrop. I can see why it turned heads and got smiles. Truly something to be proud of my good man. Now if I could just get mine done.................. but it's getting there. You gotta love a woody !!

The Cabin car has been in hiding until it started to look like something so you didn't really miss it, I haven't posted pics of it (at least not over here on T&TTT) until now. I'm very impressed with your roof, that really stands out. Looks fantastic, now you got to get out and camp in it. Enjoy it Dave....you earned it.
