As a wood worker for nearly 35 years, and more seriously for the last 20, I can say without hesitation that your effort represents the very best of what can be achieved by someone with:
1) a lot of skill
2) a lot of patience
3) an artistic eye
4) cash (for really nice wood)
5) time
6) determination
7) a supportive spouse
8) a vision
There are, I’m sure, a couple more that I’m leaving out. That’s why it’s rare to see something of this finish quality, because the aforementioned is a lot of ducks to get in a row. Anyway, job well done, and for what it’s worth, I’m SURE you will go down in Teardrop history with this one. Your name will, no doubt, be spoken in hushed tones of reverence. Congrats!

Dave I wish I was creative enough to come up a new creative way to say that trailer is a thing of beauty, but all the good comments are taken, so pat yourself on the back for a job well done is the best I can come up with.

Stunning results.

I hope you get at least a few minutes peace when you camp 'cause you'll spend all the rest of the time showing it off.. I hope I get to see it in person some time.

Congratulations on your finish. :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:           :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Out standing worksmanship and execution of a beautiful style.I don't think you will find leak one. When you take the time and make the effort to pay attention to the details you did,I'm sure the same goes for the sealing. You should be proud of that trailer.

Yessir! nice design, great execution. probably one of the finest trailers there is. no doubt there's gonna be a lot of sore necks out on the Highway. I do pity you though, I quit taking my kayak out when there's people about.. you'll know what I mean very soon...
