from Miss mery

This little evil streak in me is tempted to respond.

Dear Miss Mery!

What a coincidence that you wrote today! I was feeling sort of down and your email perked me up! I spent the last month in solitary confinement and today I was allowed back in my regular cell. Sheesh, the warden can be so humorless. I really don't think calling him a "fat Oprah Winfrey look-alike," warranted a full month in solitary.

Oh, well such is life. How are things with you? I am so craving a cigarette. Since I was in solitary I couldn't work in the laundry so I haven't got any cigarette money. You wouldn't mind lending me a few bucks would you? I should be able to pay you back in a few weeks. I can pick up a few extra bucks by working in the license plate division.

Oh, gotta go. The cell block is going on lockdown. Guess they must have found that homemade knife under my roommates bunk. It's not actually hers....I was just keeping it there. Couldn't risk another solitary stint.

By for now, I'll try to come up with some pictures next time. Please send me some of you. I hope you don't mind if I share them with the rest of the girls? We all get so lonely.

Mary

yes it would be.

I do this to bogus telemarketers all the time, I either get them really excited by playing along ( like giving them fake banking info) or I get them really freaked out buy asking them strange questions, I'll leave that up to your imagination...

One time I pretended to be a police officer at a crime scene and asked the telemarketer what association did he have with the homicide victim (me) and where was he between the hours of 4pm and 7pm today...

You know when they cant even get your name right they are up to something.

Now don't you go getting all excited about having a friend in Senegal - the country code on their email address says Thailand, so they could be a Thai just pretending to be Senegalese.

Nobody would play a low trick like that, I hear you say. Well, I'm sorry to say that sometimes they do.

But yes, there is a Santa Claus, in case you thought the whole world was falling apart......

If you really want to have some fun with them and you want to learn all the tricks of the trade I would suggest this site. That's what most of these people do for entertainment.

Considered it myself a few times, just don't have the time to keep up with it.

:o I'm surprised you even open the mail you get from strangers. Just opening an email from someone you don't know can give your PC a virus. Not only that but also, these people share email addresses of those who have opened their "fish hook". There's no telling how many sales and evil email lists you'll end up on.

Oh, Boy......

I do open some mail from strangers but never attachments. I feel fairly confident with my virus protection system from McAffee.
