Hi from Watkins Glen NY!

Hi everyone-

My wife and I recently purchased a Little Guy 5 wide platform and can't wait to get out on the road. We have been getting it set up the way we like for the last couple of months and we are very happy with it. We just installed an SMEV combo sink and stove and it works great.

We would love to attend some gatherings so if there are any in upstate NY please let us know.

Hello Kevin and Amy,

The next gathering near us that I know of is the NYS chapter of TearJerkers Spring Camporee on May 15-17 at Delta Lake State Park.

Like Miriam said if you check the thread for the NorthEast you'll find some for our area. We're going to try to go to Delta Lake but not sure if we can. We built out tear last summer and I'd like to go to a few gatherings this year. Should be lots of fun!

Kevin and Amy,
If you havent yet, join the TearJerkers Camping Club. Its in the above heading bottom line. I believe they will put in in the right club for your area. And this is the season for gatherings. Lots of great friendly people.
Enjoy,
Bill and Marijo :applause:
Hope to see you on the road.

Kevin & Amy, welcome to the forum.
I spent a lot of time at the track while I was (growing up) in Hammondsport. :applause:

That's a beautiful area and I love to come back to visit.

Hi Kevin & Amy,

I build a Teardrop so I can go TO Watkins Glen, and you buy one so you can get AWAY from Watkins Glen? :? :? :?

Seriously though, welcome to the forum. Have fun, and take lots of photos.

Here's some pictures of your back yard!

Those photos literally ARE in my back yard! (well, a couple blocks away but you get the idea).

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. This site is a great resource.
Hope to see you at gatherings and out on the road!

Cheers,
K and A

Hi Kevin and Amy, welcome to the forum. I am giving you a personal invite to make the trek West and attend a one-of-a-kind teardrop gathering high-atop one of our local mountains,in Wrightwood, Calif. June 25th to 27th. This is a perfect chance for you to break in your new Little
Guy, wide platform teardrop and enjoy a sceinic, 5 day, cross-country trip and at the same time, enjoy the friendly fellow campers, clear skies, scents of pine trees and vistas of distant, yonder desert valleys far below.

In the improbable event that you can't make it, I do hope you can hook up with lsome other like-minded teardroppers in your area, also interested in making new friends and sharing some time around a campfire under the clear nightime stars. Swing on by, when you get here, in the meantme Good luck with your new toy.
Roly 8) :?
PS, please reply if you can't make it................. :-)
