Broken pneumatic hinge

Postby Lorraine E. » Sun Apr 26, 2009 1:52 pm

Some time over the winter, sitting in the parking lot, the pneumatic hinge gizmo tore out of the woodwork. The bracket fell to the floor of the Little Guy Silver Shadow. The wood is badly splintered, and the molding came loose. Has anyone had a similar experience?? Any suggestions about where I could take the trailer for repairs (in the Charlotte / Asheville, North Carolina area)?? Thanks for your help!![/img]

Call Little Guy and expain what happened. They are real good when one of their trailers has a problem.

That’s a little interesting that it should happen in the winter. The colder temperatures should make the structure stiffer, and the gas to be lower volume PV = nRT. Hmmm… does not compute
