Trailer Comparison

Postby Loader » Tue Sep 06, 2005 7:48 am

I am very close to starting my build, just waiting on the weather to cool a bit more. I was set on the Tractor Supply (TSC) 4x8 No Floor trailer, and I found the great review one of the members provided. This made me decide to do a little more research on the factory made trailers.

I have searched the site, and haven't found a comparison between the Harbor Freight and the TSC, or even the Northern Tool 4x8 folding trailer (960 lbs cap). Has anyone done a side by side comparison of the HF and TSC trailers? Also, I thought I read where someone found a 5x8 TSC No Floor, by chance does any one know the part number for that, my local store can't seem to find it.

Thanks for the help!

Loader, I think you have to forget the Northern Tool one:

I'm pretty sure that one only has EIGHT inch tires, right? I only have 12 on mine, which also kind of stinks, but 8...forget it.

Also, 900 lb. capacity doesn't sound all that great.

Northen also has a folding one with a heavier load capacity (1100 plus), but you have to buy the tires separately, and once you DO that, the comparable Harbor Freight one is cheaper.
