Propane

Hi Everybody.Finally getting back to work on the TD after a long and cold winter.Am thinking about putting my 10 LB. propane bottle under the counter in the galley to concerve space in the tounge box and to also shorten up the hose to the stove.My question is do I need to have a vent to the outside , or should it be mounted out at the tounge beside the box.

that's where I was thinking of putting mine. Since you only ever use it to cook with the hatch open, and there is no path for the gas to get to the cabin part of the tear, I'm not sure what the trouble with it might be. I was thinking 10 lb tank as well since I probably won't be going for more than a few days at a time.

Make sure you vent it at the bottom. Propane is heavier than air.
If your tank, valve or connection was seeping you could build up a pool of gas that would be a bomb waiting for any spark.
If you parked for a while and the leak had started from vibration while driving you could open the hatch, light something and BOOM!

Think of propane as water.... Where would the water flow to.... Put vent (drain) there.....
