Tearhead, from one ex-Illinoian to a present Wisconsinonian (?) I have to tell you that you are in the right place. Lots of friendly teardrop info here, and you can't beat the price. Our lighthouse tour around the great lakes, was the highlight of our fulltiming travels.

Now, here's how you can get that ideal, one-of-a-kind, magnificent teardrop that you are dreaming of. Contact Camp-Inn, tell them that you know me, and bingo, you get a 50% discount! For some reason, I have been trying to trade my woody, straight across for one of theirs, but have been unable to strike a deal.............I wonder why!

Do come and join our friendly teardrop community and perhaps we'll meet sometime around a mid-western campfire. Good luck
Roly 8)

the only woman tough enough to make the Shivaree

(2 years in a row) If she can handle -15 wind chill believe me she has no problem with me.

She has joked about getting a teajerker name button with "ol what's her name" on it so folks here will know her at the gatherings

Hey Tearhead

Postby John T. Hodgen » Mon May 04, 2009 6:38 am

Welcome Tearhead,
I was hooked from the show on the Travel Channel--RV Crazy.
I researched and started my build "Costa Lotta".  :worship: 4 months and $1600.00 later I have a T/D that I'm very proud of. :applause: For inspiration, go to http://s215.photobucket.com/albums/cc145/panheadjohn60/ for build/camp pixs. Go to http://www.gearztv.com/index.php?conten ... c=12_14178 For pixs on Gearz Tv Website. As the saying goes--'Let's Build Something Together!" :D

I'm blown away by the warm reception here!

Postby tearhead » Mon May 04, 2009 10:35 pm

I'm really enjoying the active and lively interchange in these pages. Here’s what I get for not checking this thread for 24 hours—a whole new page!

Roly, we’re Wisconsinites. Though Wisconsinonians looks more impressive! Too bad when my husband visited the Camp-Inn people last week he didn’t know to drop your name. Oh well! He was most impressed with their trailers.

Bob, I’m so glad that “old what’s her name” is such a good sport. And a tough one! Maybe she doesn't mind being referred to as "old what's her name." And of course, we haven't found out how she refers to you!

John, I saw your photos of Lady Costa Lotta on another thread last week and was totally blown away. She’s gorgeous and I think her name really would be more appropriate as Wortha Lotta! Way to go! Looks more and more like we’ll be building rather than buying. Your trailer is an inspiration.
:applause:

Seems like the answer to the question, "RV Crazy?" is "Yes, VR!"

Hello tearhead.

Welcome to the forum

What ever you do, don't go the off topic section of this forum. There is a bunch of reprobates over there. :o

While they may need professional help..... they may not want it yet.

I'm kind of used to that! That off topic thread is pretty interesting. Haven't ventured a contribution in there yet, but probably soon!

there are many threads in the off topic section as there are in each section.

Most of them come and go, but there are two perennial threads. The Am I a thread killer thread, and the where did everyone go.. thread.
