I have a h/f trailer with its low lights, one on each side of the frame. I installed some led lights on the back of the hatch (4 leds in each one) and am very disappointed in how dim the are.. I'm sure at night they will help, but in the daytime, when I do most of my traveling, I doubt they will increase my safety margin much...

While installing them, I accidentally shorted the wires and blew my 6 to 4 wire converter in my van. I got a 70 dollar quote for a new one from honda and wound up buying a 30 dollar item from pepboys... it was much easier to install than I imagined as it had the same wire color codes on the van and the converter box..... just cut out the old coverter and wired in the new one.
