Well, first post...so first off, I would like to thank all those who help made this forum so we all have a voice and a place to ask questions and get answers and share ideas. So thanks to those who (or is it whom???) operate the forum and to those putting in their valuable time to make this forum worth all of our while.
Ok, so when I first started looking into some type of vehicle to go camping, a teardrop was my thought. After doing some research, even though I really liked them, I don't think they have the storage I need for what I plan on doing. I am looking for a rig that will allow me to take all my gear (I race about 10 endurance, 24 hours, 100 miles, that type of thing, mountain bikes all through New England) that I need to race, as well as keep my race bike dry and sleep in to the venues. I had a great idea of buying a cargo trailer and converting it to have some beds in it.. I AM A GENIUS. Then I found this site and saw an entire forum dedicated to it. DOH!! Seems as if my genius idea has already been thought of. Bummer. But the up side is I now can get more ideas and ask questions to those who have already done what I am looking to do.
So that is my story. I am researching trailers, looking to buy in the next few weeks and dig into making my race rig. So, I would like to say hello and thanks in advance for all the help and knowledge this board will provide...
