BED 4TWO Pulling into the best camp site on the internet

Postby bed4two » Tue May 05, 2009 6:49 pm

Just a short note to introduce Suzanne and I. We have had our Camp-Inn 550 Ultra SUV for slightly over a year now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I was a lurker on this site prior to our ordering the "Bed 4Two" and a lot of my decision making was a result of research and comments here. What a great camp ground T&TTT is!

I'll be contributing and sharing now that I'm officially signed up and am looking forward to getting to know you all.

Pics? What pics?

Postby bed4two » Thu May 07, 2009 10:22 pm

Actually everything will come in time. Just too much going on and not enough time. Need to get out in the Bed4two and relax. In addition I need to feel my way around in the dark here as it's all new territory--Don't want to go tripping over a branch or step on a hot coal LOL!

Here's a shinning example of something that has taken up a few hours lately.

Hi Don and Suzanne,

Welcome to the forum. That's a nice shining example you got there. Did you polish that up yourself?

Shining example

Mike...

Well... mostly. My wife did some of the final polishing with the Cyclo and some Mother's. Actually, that particular photo does not represent the final finish. The sides now look very much like the top skin and rear hatch. After I fell off the ladder Suzanne felt sorry for me and gave me some help.

I'm not sure the polishing will ever be complete as once you go down that road every fingerprint, rain drop, bug, hard water spot, etc. seems to be magnified.

We are pretty happy with the job as it does blind the drivers behind us and we have been asked if it is made of polished stainless steel on numerous occasions.

Thanks for the compliments.

Welcome to the forum.

That is one beautiful tear.

My wife wants to know if you are a sheet metal worker? Her dad was one and that looks like something he would have built if he was around.

hello bed42,
I use to live at the "Space Coast" too. Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, and Cocoa itself. :) Still have friends down that way. Use to camp out by the bridges until the POLICE/Disney decided that all that Free camping was BAD for business. Caught alot of shrimp underneath those bridges--GOOD TIMES!!! ;)
Love the trailer too!!!!

Naw, not hardly. Those sheetmetal workers are up in Necedah, WI at Camp-Inn Trailers. I'm just the maintenance man.
