:surrender: :throw PC: I thought I was trying to be good to those on dial-up and making it a link to my Photobucket rather than an embedded image that would have to load every time somebody viewed the discussion. I will try to re-size it without losing all the detail if I can. Personally, I think Bobby did a better job with his http://lcg.teardrops.us/map; I don't know how to do the mouse-over thing to make the names of the occupants pop up. I just kept mine current because it was a project I would like to see through to the end even if nobody looked at it.

I'm going to take a quick shower to rinse off the perspiration from working in the yard, turn on the A/C as much as I hate to, and get right on it.

Made it smaller and cleaned up some of the extraneous pixels.... and it's still legible.

One of my goals for LCGIV is to take my GPS and make an accurate & clean map of the Campground - I'm not sure either map is correct & Google doesn't have a correct map either.

The popups for the site's guests are a bit of a pain - it took awhile to map out each sites 'coordinates' - I did it more as a 'i can do this' sort of thing rather than a necessity. The whole thing is overly complicated - but it's been a fun project.

I'll have my hand held there as well. If you need help or co-ordinate verification, just ask.

I believe I saw "DGUFF" on the roster...they were there in 2008 and traveled from California .... so we must have made a good impression!!!

Yes, we are returning for this year but the last LCG we were at was LCG II in 2007. Met some great people and had lots of fun.

Thank you! You and BG did a great job. I hadn't seen the mouse over one but I guess I am old and like the one where I can see them all at once.  Geezerett !

So it looks like only one spot left and 6 questionables - are they hiding or are they non-tears? Great map. I look at it but I think we ought to have google street come by when we are there and document the camp sites - or maybe one of you industrious types can figure out how they do that. I can stick an antenae on my car and drive real slow and make ya'll think I'm working for google.

Bobby said he was going to try just that thing this year with his GPS. I'm bringing my hand held as well, so I should be able to get some actual tracks of the road. I walk or ride my bike around it enough times any ways, may as well make the exercise doubly productive.

This weekend at another campout me and Cindy L were talking about the Monster Ball from last year , and decided we should do it again ....

but I for one would rather have Tshirts available and not mess with any kind of prize donation/giveaway.

I'll likely do minimal Halloween decor , not competing for a prize and I think Linda (past two years winner) is going to decorate but out of the competition this time. Someone mentioned 'dressing up' ... I guess the trick or treating is not out of their system.
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

If I remember correctly, this was discussed briefly last year as well. I will use the same argument I did last year. Since 99% of my Halloween costumes involve tights (Peter Pan, Romeo to my ex's Juliet, the Sugar Plump Fairy [picture a 300 lb cigar smoking fairy in a tutu, ball cap and a wife beater t-shirt]); you don't want to see me in tights!!!! :laughing1:

Yes to the Monster Ball!! Also, I think we should do the State wine tasting off to the side like we did last year. Hope the Marguerita machine is back as well :R I am really not the boozer that it sounds!! Wish we knew who the ???? campers are ... since most are around Gary and I camp site. We are already planning breakfast. Found a really good Amish Friendship Bread and have started making loaves of coffee cake and putting them in the freezer ... will bring some to Cloud Croft and some to LCG. Only 5 months away :applause: Trudy
Where ever we raise the hatch is home.
Darn blank states keep getting further away and we keep traveling slower ain't never gona get this map full.

Insinkeratorgarita machine should be there. Planning to be, but it is still a few days awaaaay . . . and the fact that you are a boozer is safe with us. Wait. did I just spill the beans?
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.
