25 wedding anniversary

Postby starleen2 » Tue May 19, 2009 8:09 pm

Greetings all - A few of you threadstets already know this but I want to say happy anniversary to my loving wife for twenty five wonderful years today - It's hard to believe that the years went by so fast and we are still passionately in love with each other - even with a few extra pounds and little less hair. Cindy loves to put little letters everywhere - i found a love note stuck between two slices of bread when I went to make a sandwich - she's good about that. She commented about how I would always to the disgusting work around the house so she wouldn't have to. To me it's better than doing laundry and having everything white turn pink. Funny how we just assumed those roles - but we do help each other. The one thing that has helped us along for so many years is that we NEVER went to sleep upset at each other - sometimes this meant a lot of sleepless nights, but the making up was well worth it. Thanks Cindy for putting up with the teardrop obsession - but I see it rubbing off on her too - we are blessed with one so to be 13 yr old daughter who is the focus of all our love too(but she thinks we're just silly old parents - but that's OK). If the past 25 yrs was this fun - I can't wait for the next.

Having met both of you I don't know how each of you puts up with one another. :o

But whatever y'all are doing, keep it up and congatulations. That is an impressive milestone . :applause: :applause: :applause:
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Scott and Cindy, congratulations on the "first" 25 years. It looks like you both know the meaning of honoring one another and ernestly take care of each others needs. I can guanantee you, the next 25 will be equally as wonderful, if not even more so. Live life to it' fullest, and continue to enjoy each others company, always. Here's wishing you everlasting happiness. Say "I love you" often, even over the phone.

On our 30th 2006, I told my wife I want to have another 30 years more at least. She liked that and was happy. I felt that 1/2 year later it was over due to her death. I wish we were still together. :( I now have Sue a very wonderful companion and feel I am torn between the both of them. Sue understands and is bearing with me. Sue lost her husband three months earlier.) I don't want to lose her now either. What a predicament we are in. Stay with it. Make it a goal to stay married and most of all show her you love her no matter what. Congratulates

Sorry for the added stuff.

Because you had such a wonderful marriage with your dear wife, You must know she would want you to be happy. Life can be very lonely so enjoy your Sue and your times together now and your memories with your wife.
Good Luck to you.
