Does Kentucky Bourbon count? It's made with corn and has a beautiful color.

If not, I'll help you taste it.(sip it)

Gonna need some pretty tasty crackers to cleanse the pallet after that. :o

Just wanted to pop in and say I made a change.....I will still stop by fish creek pond but I am not arriving till Sat now and staying for a week. So I could not get the same site at FCP and got one at Rollins pond instead.

So if anyone has been thinking about going.....SITE 244 IS OPEN in the middle of teardropville. I will be along Sat afternoon with my camera in hand ...lots of folks from here I want to met in person.

Remember that this is a New York State Park, and there are some rules regarding alcohol. I have talked to the park 'authorities', and they only mentioned to be sure not to carry glass down the road between campsites and it should be transported in a bag for safety and park rules that alcohol should not be overly visible. Plastic/acrylic drinking glasses are a good idea. Their biggest concern is the 10:00 quiet time. They are strict on this rule and will enforce it!

PS. We picked up the huge box of TearUp T-Shirts today... they look awesome!

Posting here lakeside from site 114 at Fish Creek. Its been a great weekend so far, and we have been feeding the blackflies as much as possible. They just opened up the sites in where the TearUp will be. They are getting ready for us!

Cheers

Dave, kill off as many black flies as you can while you are there.

For those who haven't been to the Adirondacks before, there are some things that will help against black flies.

Unscented soap, sunscreen and shampoo is a "must" as well as repellant.

My wife can confirm that they like (scented) people (a lot).

Any other tips would probably be good to know unless you like to be "eaten" by insects.

Any other ideas??

No it doesn't, Kurt, but the Pale Ale is available in a 40oz growler jug. More importantly my beloved Utica Club Pilsener Lager is available in cans and long neck bottles, although they don't come in the stout "hand grenade" bottles anymore.
