I'm a member of PETA! People Eating Tasty Animals.....squirrels are at the bottom of the food chain, lots of critters around here snack on them...next thing will be someone gets hauled into court over hitting one on the road. Go figure....Doug

The squirrels around here fatten up nicely on all the pecans from the trees in my yard. They make a fair substitute for chicken when fried or combined with dumplings. But basically they are a pest, a tree rat, and any means of extermination acceptable for other pests are perfectly acceptable to me for their elimination. Since there are no pecans yet they are constantly digging up plants in the vegetable garden. I would rather eat the pecans and vegetables than the squirrels, but they make their own choices.......
