Hey everyone, we are new to the forum - and teardrops as well. We are busy planning our build based on Steve's shop manual.

I'm SUPER impressed by the community and support on this site. You guys are great.

I'd like to meet some other folks who have built trailers in the KC metro area. Can anybody recommend anybody?? Thanks!!

I'm just down the road from you in beautiful (sic) Rosedale, KS. I didn't build my own but I have a Little Traveler by Pleasant Valley. If you'd like the nickel tour, PM me.

Welcome to the forum...

What style are you going to build?

Hi Twilight Lane, welcome to the forum. Do you have a shorter name, my fingers get sore when typing such a long 12 letter name. :-) I am sure you can find a local builder in your area, and if possible try to get to a local gathering somewhere around KS. A real close look-see. is worth a thousand words. Good luck on your build. It is going to be a woody, isn't it?

Hi TwilightLane Welcome to the forum. There are several teardrop builders in the area. Tony in Blue Springs, I'm Gary Rayvillian and have the first attempt at Milke's Winter Warrior design than Jeff over in Topeka has built 2 tears and a standy. I'm sure that they will all stop by sooner or later. the closest home built one to you would probably be Daren's.

Anthony & Kathy! You are the people we need to talk to. It looks like you built the same dang kind of trailer we have in mind. I'd love to get a chance to come our your way to see it. I'm out of town for a few weeks, but can we get together later in June?

And thanks to all for the warm wishes. We are super psyched to hear from everyone, and we look forward to meeting everyone.

(and you can call us...)
