Greetings from NW Ohio

Postby sgnellett » Wed May 13, 2009 4:18 pm

Hello all, Steve here, from Port Clinton, OH. I'm new here, obviously, and new to the whole TT & TD scene. I'm looking for something to tow behind my red Jeep Wrangler on some short trips to go off roading, hunting, etc..

We might tow it behind the van occasionally so the wife and I could overnight and keep the 2 rugrats sleeping in the van!

Wow, I'm the first to say welcome Steve I'm sure you'll find just what you need. Oh by the way if you don't, the people here will help you build what you need. Walt

Steve,
Welcome to the forum. You might want to check out the Design Library and the top of the page. Take your time with the planning, its as much fun as the build.
Enjoy,
Bill and Marijo :applause:
Hope to see you on the road.

Hey Steve,

welcome to the forum. There are a number of Jeep owners here who have designed and built some wonderful trailers to pulll behind their Jeeps.

I doubt if I'll be building anything myself, at least not yet, I'm looking into buying one. I have my eyes on 2, one here that is nearby and one I stumbled across locally driving down the road!

Welcome, and I suggest you check out "The Outback Teardrop" site. His name is Larry and he has built an off road teardrop that you can drag up rock strewn creek beds with no problem.
Roly ;) 8)

Any chance you have a link to him? I've tried searching the hall of fame and member list, but no luck so far..

If either of you get up near the lake this summer, give me a heads up, perhaps I can show you around!

Thanks for the offer.

We have been up your way a number of times in the past but never camping.

Which campgrounds do you recommend in the area?
