Hello from Ohio!

Postby NismoGriff » Thu May 28, 2009 3:21 pm

Hey all, I joined back in August of 08 but did not post until today. Since I started asking questions today, I figured I should at least introduce myself. I live in Lorain Ohio (30 min west of Cleveland) and I currently have a PUP and will hopefully be building a TD by fall/winter on the chassis of a different PUP that I purchased the other day and leveled to just the wooden floor. I got the trailer plated today so I can at least move it around and use it to pick up build supplies. Once it's built, I will be towing it with my 2004 Honda Element EX. I'll be looking forward to sharing my build experience with everybody and of course learning from all the experienced builders.

Hi NG, welcome aboard. Looks like you already have all of your ducks in a row, now on with the build. Good luck, ask questions and take pics.

Hey Nismo, welcome to the group. I live in North Olmsted. If You have any questions or need to know of any local suppliers or want to see my project, feel free to hit me back through pm. I'm building my third camper, a standy ttt... about 65% complete. Slowed down a bit since it warmed up but should be done soon. There are plenty of other Buckeyes on the site, too.

GO CAVS!!!

Hi Nismo,

Welcome to the forum.

I'm from Strongsville. Go Mustangs!

Oh wait, that was a long time ago! But there's still lots of other folks nearby...

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. I am really looking forward to the build. Mark McD, I would definately like to see your project, get some pointers etc... It's funny, I run a shop that does car audio/video/security and sport compact accy's.....I get a lot of the late teen's and early 20's guys that think I am crazy because I have a project car that I have been neglecting and I want to build a camper. I am hoping this is the trick to getting my mind away from cars enough to enjoy working on them again.
