Hello all. I have been lurking around for a little while now. My mother and I are in the process of building a trailer for her. We used the generic plans on a HF trailer. I have found a lot of the info on here VERY VERY useful. I am also planning a build. I am looking to build on an old S-10 frame. Modified quite a bit. When moms is done, we sill see how mine turns out. Hers she has a wieght requirement for her little matrix to pull it. Mine is to be pulled with a fullsize. Any ways can't wait to share my knowledge and ideas as you all have shared with me.
It's pretty neat that you're helping your mom build her teardrop.
Are you going to build your own build after that? Yes. Yes you will.

Welcome, it looks like you have all of your ducks in a row. When you make that maiden voyage, swing by SW Calif and we'll chat teardrops. Good luck on your build. Remember, Pics, pics, pics.
