Ebay Windows

I am beginning to start building up my pile of goodies for when I get the wood and such to begin the build, but was curious about what people thought about these windows. They seem like a decent price, the ebay seller has a decent feedback and look like they would work well, as they have a screen in them and lock as well..

Try Callen Camper in Califonia. I got my windows from them. They use Kinro windows and their prices are pretty good plus Tammy is great to deal with:

I purchased my windows from the same guy. I had no trouble with them.
Just make sure you tell them what depth inside mounting ring you need.
I used 1 3/8 " rings and he charged me an extra 10 bucks.

Something else to consider when looking for windows. Sliders will allow rain in if open during a rainstorm. The crank out ones will not and not being tinted will allow in more light. Just my thoughts, all depends on your preference. Doug

I have had no major problems with rain coming in my sliders. Here is how I do it:

1. Open both windows.
2. Shut the window that the rain is coming in.
3. Leave the other open.
4. Open and turn on the roof vent fan. (The design of my roof vent keeps the rain from coming in.

I stay dry and cool. Most of the time, unless the rain is being blown sideways, both windows can stay open with no rain getting in.

I wanted these windows too for the cool styling that matched my moonroof, but in the end I decided on some crank out windows. (They still had to be black tho ). I got them for alot less to which helped, although they were shipped like crap, they made it and that's what counts. I don't have a roof fan (OOPS) so I need to be able to open both windows during rain.

This seller is highly respected though and I bought my fusebox, license plate mount, and door and hatch latch assemblies from him (because they were keyed the same, Grants lock on the inside which these do not, so depends your preference there too).

I've bought stuff from that same seller, and had no problems at all, in fact, my order came quicker than thought. I also plan to use the same windows in our tear nest construction.
