Frist Trip out-its campable

Postby nevadatear » Tue May 26, 2009 8:35 am

Well, we made it :) ! still have a long laundry list of finishing up things to do (finish epoxying the hatch, another two coats of varnish over everything, seals, battery, galley door fronts, shelves...) but it was eminently campable and a great time was had by all, except when the hatch fell on my head (fix temporary hatch prop is on the list too). Took Monstero to Markleeville in CA for his first outing. He pulled like a dream and attracked attention all around, as we were warned. Gonna slow down a little for the finishing up (we were doing 14 hours days with work and the trailer for the last week). Granddaughter liked it too! More pics of inside in my gallery.

I love the smell of varnish in the morning.
Growing up in a paint store, it smells like money to me.
You have a beautiful trailer.
Let the camping memories begin.

Its all in the details. We are working hard every night in the heat (over 100 for two weeks with no relief in sight) adding the final details to the trailer. Here are some update pics.
