NightCap,

I'm not sure about the scale, but I think you could cut off at least a foot from the leg space in the potty room.
Could you get a smaller sink?
Turn the table 90 degrees, it will give you a little bit of access room.
Can't you and that pretty wife of yours cuddle more and just have a long full sized bed, that would give you some extra room that you could use in wider counters.

John

PS, you did buy a tent for the shower, remember???

Heh, you are right of course. I could use the room the shower would take up. Or I could make the bathroom smaller any how. I have been looking at full mattresses at Akea. It is hard making decisions that will last a long time once a trailer is built. I'll play with it a bit more in Visio.

Maybe you could have the queen mattress fold up into a sofa across the back and use a free-standing folding table that would store underneath when the bed is out? Or a table that would fold down from the side wall next to the closet? Just some ideas...

Yeah. I'd like to do that. I like the idea of being able to sit around the table to play cards or eat. Thanks.

Look below the table on the left, this diner converts to a shower. Shower frame is PVC pipe disassembled and stored under the wood deck below the table. If you don't want the diner...you could place the toilet on top of the wooden panel covering the PVC shower frame....Raise the sides waist height and create a removable shelf.

Instead of U channeling the bed...make a left / right bench extend the table to the camper wall. Opens up the space and your not doing the butt scoot and footsies jam.

I like the looks of the diner. Knowing me I would always have something on the table when the urge to take a shower or worse, restroom break happens. But cool idea.

Very Nice Idea. Thanks.

I really like that one. Thats' giving me some ideas.... mine however won't be as long so I have to do some tweaking. Basically the storage area would be removed and everything moved up and I don't think I want a stove in mine...

This is the latest and greatest version. I added some retro curves. I like the ones Rod did in the office trailer at the Spring Fling. Actually I am fairly stoked about it.

I like it. Retro curves are cool IMO, especially since I'm not skilled enough myself to do them well :)

You have room for the door-side cushion to be a bit longer if you want extra seating or a place to sit and put on your shoes. Or go for the extra floor space. Either way, I'd love to see pics...

Very nice, layout! :applause:

The CFO at my home has in mind a standy with a floor plan similar to yours for build #2. Actually, she saw this on the forum and really wants something like it (almost the same floor plan as yours but shorter in length). Here is the thread: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=25814&highlight=retrotraveler

I get ya, you mean like this? It does look pretty cool. It fills in the whole look and feel of the trailer a bit better. Perhaps a bit more balanced. Thanks!

Freaky Similar. I swear I didn't see that floor plan till just now. It even has the lines in the shower like I have. Nice little trailer. Hope mine turns out anywhere near as nice.

Looks great. I would look again at your counter - looks like it scales to 18" deep. Pretty skinny. If you have any curve in the front to the bottom like the retro traveler, you will have no lower cabinet either.

I'm sure you'll figure it out!

Yeah, the bottom cupboard would be worthless. I got the measurements of the appliances that I would be using and came up with this revision. I'm sure as I build it I will make some adjustments as well.
