i guess i'm calling it my "half tear" because only the front is the shape of a tear or the front of a tear lol.....then cause i was getting pressed for time i droped the top 2 inches to the back for run off and slaped some stain (5 coats) and i hit the road....and its working and with some luck she won't leak over the next month and i'll make er home dry and sound

cheers!!!

I'm Lovin' It!!

Built one very similiar to that'un in the early 80's before I knew what a TearDrop was.

Also Lovin' your pics. Have fun, be safe and get busy on the plans for the second one. You know it's coming. ;)

Gypsy,
you got the url almost right, just need a at the end of the link by a second push of the URL button. It looks like this except no spaces.

http://canadianhobo.blogspot.com

You had us confused with the half tear, I was thinking a real narrow trailer.

Maybe you should put a chunk of plywood on the roof and make an overhang 6-8" off the rear to help with the water problem

Have Fun
Jim
I need a new Avatar. I'd put my dog up there but she doesn't look much like me. She's the skinny one.

i thought about that already (over hanging a chunk of ply wood) I already loose it when i smoke my head on the top....i'm not a tall guy and it comes up level level with my nose.

It is safe to say the re build will be two inches taller with a hatch....taking more of a tear drop shape all around.......i have everything planed out but the new shape and what to do bout those wheel wells inside. I was thinking about putting blocks between the axel and the springs and getting longer shackles...bring the deck up a couple inches plus with the sub floor i'll be able to get rid of them all together i hope aha we'll see
