Rofl @ "I feel a nap coming on..."

And lmao @ this little exchange from that forum:

Mongo

Oh I've always admired them... the simplicity of just hopping-on, twisting the throttle, motoring-away, all while wearing comfortable shoes and knees together like a catholic school-girl.

It's better than having to dress up like a Power Ranger, indeed

I think I'll go suit up in my shorts, zorries, skid lid and gloves and go take my motored bicycle for an adrenaline-fueled 22 mph cruise.

WHO WANTS PICS?!

I won't go into too many details on this comment...but the short story is, this guy showed up at our campfire, not part of the group, maybe 45 people total, swinging a stick telling us how he could take out anyone with his martial arts expertise. After some lengthy diatribe that I succumbed to, I said I was going for a beer, next closest person was Sue.

She feigned taking a nap so he wouldn't bother her, Lee, next closest got saddled with him and when he made a move towards me to ditch him on me, I rotated around the fire, very large circle. Large enough that there was a flaming 8' beam of wood that several of us walked across as an initiation, another story. This pic was taken the next day.

The thing is, the cows lumbered through his site, with the wind blowing, wizzed and dumped, it blew over everything, tried to rub on his tent...hence the results and he did nothing despite all his martial arts expertise. It truly was one of those things that you had to be there for. Nothing seemed to faze this guy....glad I went for a beer when I did!
If you are ever camping with Sue....if she fakes sleeping, beware!

Best part is...we got a great picture and a story out of it for future campfires and that is all that matters. Dean H gave him the name Mongo....Here's to you Mongo....thanks! Doug

Cows is smart! :)
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

You know... "awesome" has become an oft-overused expression, but in this case it's just about the perfect thing to say after hearing this story. Hahaha....

Awesome.
