Unless something rips or tears, Lenora & I will be there. We're gonna make this a combo trip to see her sisters in NMex & Arizona. We'll leave here around Jun 29th & make it a 3-4 day trip to Cloudcroft (we like short mileage days 8) ), then on to visit kinfolks after the 4th. Se y'all there ;)

Thanks Barbara ... I would love too but unless I get a decent camping loving vacation worthy boyfriend to share the $$ and the long 10 hour drive, I just don't think I can make it.
And there's always the lottery (yeah, right ) or maybe that 23 yr old rancher that won the last powerball ...... hahaha (yeah, right)

So we'll see but at this time I just don't think I can do it. :(
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

hey Barbara, thanks for thinking of Julie. We had actually already been talking about her coming and just couldn't do it.
Can you think of anyone else?

Woody, you guys are sure going out of the way to break up the trip

Harvey, glad you can visit relatives in the same trip.

We will arrive Wednesday evening (July 1st) Will probably stay overnight in the national forest or in one of the other campgrounds.

Julie,
Sorry you can't make it out but I know that 10 hours plus gas is too hard on one person. Maybe you really will get to meet that rich young cowboy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. If you do meet him, ask if he has a rich young cowboy brother for me. :worship:
Anyway, hope to meet you at a gathering some day.

Julie sorry to here you might not make it. I sure hope you make it. If you want to travel as a group maybe Grani,Jon,Gene,Gary and Trudy. I have a co-pilot traveling to help with the driving in heading west. For me it is a 18 hour drive. Maybe a night OKC or Yukon with family.

Me and the wife are still coming in the "Lite" house. Do we need something to show we already paid? Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi Lee,
We are looking forward to meeting you. You don't need anything to show you paid. I've got it down.

See ya in a couple of weeks

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm ready to head off to the mountains for cooler temps.
It is 98 here today and to be 100 on Thursday.

Cloudcroft has a chance of rain this week which is good. It is getting up in the upper 70's during the day and upper 40's at night.
