Hello from Olathe Kansas

Postby mramsey » Tue Jun 09, 2009 3:21 pm

Hi everyone! I first got introduced to teardrops when I saw a brief segment about them on the travel channel. Found this forum and have been browsing it since. I'm wanting to build my own as soon as time and $ permit. Until then I've got alot of reading, planning and dreaming to do. But hey, all that's fun too.

Glad I found this site, because it sure looks like a bunch of great info and a bunch of great down to earth folks.

Thanks again,

Matt Ramsey

Welcome from Pennsylvania. Lots of nice people on here. And full of valuable information that they are willing to share. Lucky for us newbies.
Have fun building your Teardrop.

Welcome to the forum, Matt. Now all you have to do is get that trailer, slap on a little lumber and sides, roof, doors, hatchlid, interior cabinets, galley cabinets, fenders, bumper, running lights, roof hatch, mattress, and any more of the bells and whistles that suit your fancy, and you are off and running to enjoy the greatest camping experience of your life.
Good luck on your build, remember, pics, questions go camping! ;) Roly

Welcome to the wonderful world of teardrops! Hope to see you at a campout soon... there is a campout for Sept in the works for Crawford , near Ft Scott.

My best advice is to see a real teardrop in person. Pick up the hitch, lay inside, raise the hatch... get a real feel for it before you get too far in the build. Teardroppers are great , friendly people... don't be afraid to ask.
