New to this forum - Another New Englander

Postby Jim49 » Tue Jun 09, 2009 8:33 am

We are Jim and Sue out of Maynard MA and have reciently joined this forum. We have been members over on the Tearjerker Forum for a little more than a year. We have been reading post over here once and a while because we bought our teardrop rather than build due to time and skill with wood working. We picked up our Camp Inn 560 Ultra Raindrop last September. While out there we attended their 5th annual Camp Inn Camp Outt. We pulled our Raindrop out of the garage last month and took it on a shake down camping trip on the Memorial Day Weekend up to New Hampshire. We will be attending the gathering Camp ADK Spring TearUp 2009 up to Fish Creek this coming weekend.

Welcome, Jim! Beautiful country up there in Mass. My family and I camped in a tent in the 1970's near Plymouth, and in 1999, rode my motorcycle to Boston to visit a cousin there. I-95 is a bit scary on a bike in heavy traffic!
The Raindrop looks like a really good design!

A Camp-Inn Ultra Rain Drop, say no more. What a rig. Good for you, enjoying the very best of the best. Welcome to the forum, come out and visit the west coast and we'll share a spot of coffee and you can let me check out that wonderful trailer again. Love that Rain Drop.

To Sam - I95/128 can be tuff even in a car depending on the time of day and the weather, rush hours are always fun  .

To Roly - We will be out west :) (at least as far as West Yellowstone, MT) September 18 thru 20. So if you are going to be in the area stop by. We will then be traveling back east :ilovecamp: after that thru the rest of that month.
I would rather be camping.
