New to your great forum from Oregon

Postby 1912 » Fri Jun 12, 2009 11:07 am

We are Mark and Julie. We've only been in Oregon for two years and have had the CampInn for about the same time. We started its life by picking it up in Wisconsin and having a great ride home. It's been busy taking us to cool places ever since. We mostly go into the Cascade Mountains to high lakes where we can put our kayaks in, but have added the desert this year. Been a lifelong camper so the tear is a natural extension of that. Good to be on board with people who are doing it, too.

Welcome to the forum! :applause: :applause: :applause:

You live in an incredibly beautiful state. Pictures are always strongly appreciated here, but considering where you live, I think they will be required!

Looking forward to the sharing of your adventures!

Welcome Mark & Julie! I lived in K Falls long ago and still have some family in the area. Its a great central location to some of the finest country in the world

There's also a quite active Tearjerkers chapter for the Jefferson State area you might enjoy checking out, many are members here.

Welcome! My kids live in Oregon (Corvallis and Eugene). I may retire to your part of the state-it is so centrally located in such a beautiful area. The camping must be fantastic in the mountains or desert areas. I am a lifelong camper as well.

If I could figure out how to post photos, I would. This forum has some mysterious ways.

I'm from Hood River. Compared to that you can imagine how painful it is to camp around DC.

Welcome aboard and congrats on an extremely cool teardrop.

Welcome to the forum. I too venture into the Cascades all the time just a little further north.
