I have to "hide" my teardrop!

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

I mentioned this topic to my wife and her comment was that if anyone has a problem with someone's lifestyle, it is their problem. I think she is right. Probably anyone with a teardrop has experienced a visitor dropping by at an inconvenient time. Campgrounds are sometimes that way. A few people want to meet and mingle, see other people's trailer.

Thinking there is a need to hide the trailer cannot be a good feeling. But I believe S. Heisley has the right idea. If a trailer tour is not convenient just say so in a nice way and perhaps invite them back later. It could be "I am trying to get my side tent up before dark" or "my partner is asleep in the trailer right now" or whatever. "I have not made up the bed yet" comes to mind. Our bed stays unmade a lot of the time. We tell folks our teardrop is essentially a bed on wheels plus the galley.
