Hi All. We (Mark & Rhonda) are the proud owners of a 1956 Benroy Teardrop Trailer. I'm not sure if we're going to make the TCT Camp Dearborn Gathering or not - but the tear (and our cars) will be at the Sloan Museum and Greenfield Village's Motor Muster - both in June. The Sloan Museum is doing a feature on vintage campers. Should be pretty cool.

Hello Rhonda!
Ahhh... a 56 Benroy and already made!! How many times over the process of building our teardrop did I whine that I wish we had bought one already built!
Sounds like you've got one very cool vintage trailer!

Yes, it's nice to be "vintage" ... however there are major creature comforts of being "built to look vintage". We would love to have VENTS in our trailer - it gets warm in there! We hesitate to modify it after discussing some things with Mr. Petersen (the gentleman who built it). We've looked at some of the new ones out and have been shocked by the prices. Guess we're staying vintage for now.... Rhonda

The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...
