I was thinking of doing something similar for my tear, although with a Swiss plate. Where did you get yours?

Looks like you had a great time this weekend!

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

The tag was on E-bay, the seller had lots of different countries.

5 liters for 12 bucks, even gypsies can spot a bargain. Actually, it belonged to our Canadian guests.

Something new for the Gypsy Trailer

We went to Harbor Freight today and got a 9' market umbrella for $29.89, Getting ready for 4th of July camping.

I gave the Air conditioner a workout yesterday since the actual temps were high 90's and it felt like 120. Got the trailer down to 70 degrees but it took a couple of hours.

That's a great addition!! I love it! :D

I wish we could have done the porch over the trailer hitch idea. I wanted to do that, but it didn't quite work on our design. It would sure save us a lot of wasted space. It's such a great way to actually use the hitch while you're camping--instead of tripping over it.

Did you ever end up doing a webpage for the build, Steve? If not, I'm thinking I could probably just do a link to this thread. I'd really like to include it on my links page.
:--)

Hi Rae,

Nice seeing you again. The webpage hasn't manifested itself so a link to this thread might be a good idea. It would be a nice way to expose more people to Teardrops and Tiny Travel Trailers too. Thanks in advance for the link.

Nice Umbrella, Steve. I would test how well it does with water. We purchased a similar one and it only provides shade. However, a spray can of canvas protection might give you a bit more resistance to the rain.

This umbrella had a tag on it proudly stating it was waterproofed and UV proofed with Dupont Teflon. The material is a fairly coarse weave nylon. I seriously thought about hitting it with the garden hose though when I had it up, just didn't have time for it to dry. I think your inclinations are right though and it needs to be checked out before camping.
